Adam Kalkin’s Office

Sometimes I find myself browsing the internet and certain things just stick with me. Adam Kalkin is an architect that does a lot with container home architecture. I think, from the video’s I have watched, he actually lives or at least did live in a container home. While, I was watching a youtube video about him (note, it appears to be a CNN piece), I caught a glimpse of his office. I think the office itself must be behind the back wall of the doll house inside the Bunny Lane house (not sure – just a guess). Nevertheless, I thought the office was very cool. Here is a pic:

Very Cool One Shipping Container Home Design

When I think of a weekend get away home, the first thing I ask myself is what do I want? How many people am I entertaining? How often will I use it? Who will watch it when I am not there? Do I want on the grid or off the grid? But if my mind set is – minimal; by minimal, I mean equivalent to a nice hotel room, a one shipping container house could get the job done.

I found these photographs on several separate blog sites, none of them listed a story of who owned this house or where it was built (if anyone knows please drop a comment). Anyway, this is a nicely done one room vacation get away.
